Windows 10 issue: Avast Anti-Virus Firewall

Okay so as many people have done, I've installed Windows 10, but I've encountered one problem with my Avast Premier Anti-Virus. The problem occurred when I launched Win 10 for the 1st time and I was told by Avast that my firewall won't turn on. I have tried to repair Avast using the Uninstall/Change option in my "Add or remove programs" and that hasn't helped, only made the issue worse.

If anyone has a fix for this, or has had the same problem I would appreciate it if someone could help me. Many thanks.

Uninstall Avast completely. Re-install from newly downloaded software. Avast has a version out for Windows 10, for sure - and lots of changes to it.
