windows 10 key

hi guys, i bought a windows 10 oem key about 3 months ago and activated over the phone on my old pc. i now how a brand new pc i built my self. before i dismantled my pc i uninstalled my win 10 key so i could use it on my new pc, tried to enter the ket a lot of times but its not accepting it on my new machine. any ideas guys ?

You bought a cheap OEM key from a questionable source, which you had to active by phone, and now you want to use that same discounted key on a new PC? I would say contact MS and if they let you activate it on your new hardware, you are good to go. If not, time for another key. Might want to purchase a legit key this time.

Windows key can only be activated once. You can not transfer it to another system.

OEM licence & key is only valid for the first PC/motherboard you use it on (ie it's not transferable).

You should have bought a transferable retail licence/key (costs more but worth it in the long run).
