WINDOWS 10 Laptop Restarts After Sleep

Hi guys, I need help with this very annoying problem. About 3 months ago, I upgraded my ASUS GL551JM Laptop to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1. Now, whenever I close my laptop lid, or put my laptop to sleep using the "Zz" key on my keyboard, it restarts when I try to wake it up. All my unsaved work would be gone. I don't even get a restart prompt.

Does anybody have the same problem? When I used to run Windows 8.1, I could just normally close the laptop lid, and open it without fearing that my laptop would restart.

Hi,

Please do try changing the Power Option of your laptop.
- Right click on the battery icon and select Power Options.
- Click on Change plan settings on the power plan that is selected.
- Click on Change advanced power settings
- Expand Hard disk and set Turn off hard disk after to Never
- Now expand Sleep and set Allow Hybrid sleep to Off and Hibernate after to Never.
- Click Apply and OK.
- Do test the laptop once again and see if the same problem persist.
