My mouse that I normally use is not working on my PC. I've plugged it into three different USB ports on it and none of them work, but the strange thing is that it lights up like it is ready for use, and it works just fine on my laptop. I used a wireless mouse and this one is working properly on my PC. Why is this? I've never encountered this problem, and from some research (with no proper solution) it looks like it could be a windows problem.

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Start with running Windows Update and install all the updates available.
- Next is to uninstall/reinstall the USB drivers.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the USB drives.
- Once uninstalled reboot your PC and it should reinstall the driver automatically upon reboot.
- After the reboot do test it again and see if it will work normally or not.
- If it will still not work I would also suggest checking for any BIOS update for the motherboard of your PC which could help in solving the issue.
- If all these will not work I would also consider reinstalling Windows 10.
