Windows 10 Netflix app freezes on a specific (Dell) monitor; using Intel HD 530 integrated graphics

Hi, I've built a new PC using Asus H170 Pro Gaming motherboard. I'm plugging my monitor directly into the motherboard, and I'm having issues where the Windows 10 Netflix app causes severe system stuttering (the screen freezes and mouse stops responding) with only a specific monitor: my Dell 1704FPT. With a different monitor attached, everything works fine. Even with two monitors attached, things work as long as the Netflix app's window isn't displaying on the Dell. And I have this problem no matter which port I plug the Dell into (HDMI or DVI-D).

My system is fully updated. The Intel HD Graphics 530 adapter is running driver version 20.19.15.4444. The problematic monitor shows up as "Generic PnP Monitor" in Device Manager, though Intel's HD Graphics Control Panel correctly identifies the model. I use this same monitor on other systems and never have problems. Can anyone help diagnose what's causing this issue?

[And this may or may not be related, but the Windows 10 Hulu app is generating a PB3 error with any monitor.]

Thanks!
Alan

Yep, it's not the cable: other monitors don't have this problem with this cable. It's something about the monitor/motherboard combination. Very weird, I know. And it's only in the Netflix app. Other video playback works fine and all monitors. Any other ideas?

Do you have a particular reason why you want to stick with your current monitor?
Maybe see if there are any settings to change on the app itself

Well, I'd like not to have to buy a new monitor if I don't have to. It works fine in every other situation, and it seems weird that it wouldn't work here. And the app has no settings.

Well, it seems silly to have to buy a new monitor because one app isn't working. There are no settings to change on the Netflix app.

Does anyone have any ideas why this might be happening?
