Hi, I've built a new PC using Asus H170 Pro Gaming motherboard. I'm plugging my monitor directly into the motherboard, and I'm having issues where the Windows 10 Netflix app causes severe system stuttering (the screen freezes and mouse stops responding) with only a specific monitor: my Dell 1704FPT. With a different monitor attached, everything works fine. Even with two monitors attached, things work as long as the Netflix app's window isn't displaying on the Dell. And I have this problem no matter which port I plug the Dell into (HDMI or DVI-D).
My system is fully updated. The Intel HD Graphics 530 adapter is running driver version 20.19.15.4444. The problematic monitor shows up as "Generic PnP Monitor" in Device Manager, though Intel's HD Graphics Control Panel correctly identifies the model. I use this same monitor on other systems and never have problems. Can anyone help diagnose what's causing this issue?
[And this may or may not be related, but the Windows 10 Hulu app is generating a PB3 error with any monitor.]
Thanks!
Alan
