No better way to describe this problem, but Windows 10 appears to have 'removed' anything to do with networking so I can no longer get online.
In Settings > Networking and Internet > Network status - there is just a line there and nothing else. No wifi or LAN status or options.
Here is what I've tried:
Reinstall drivers - not resolved
Reset network - failed
System restore - failed
sfc /scannow - no issues detected
chkdsk -r - no issues detected
Disable VPN, firewall and AV software - no difference
Change LAN cable
Boot to Ubuntu to test network adapter - working
Install usb wifi adapter - unrecognized in windows
Any things I can try that I've missed? Never seen this problem before which appears to be Win 10 file corruption since the hardware works.
Thx in advance
