Hello, I recently upgraded to Windows 10 then I did a clean install. Now I downloaded and updated all my drivers but I've noticed that my NVIDIA control panel is no where to be found. I have tried uninstalling geforce experience and the nvidia driver itself then reinstall but the control panel still isn't anywhere. Is anyone else having this issue?

Solution

Same thing happened to me. Neither GeForce or the Control Panel was working, but I got it to work after reinstalling the drivers.

I uninstalled Geforce Experience and all the drivers. Then I deleted the main Nvidia folders (should be in your C drive). It might say that some of the files can't be deleted, but that's okay since I read somewhere you really only need to delete the Geforce...

There's one or two folders somewhere in your C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation Nvidia (X86) program file for Windows 64-bit . I just deleted everything else like the other Nvidia folder program on the other Program file folder (the non X86) just to be sure even though some of the files could not be deleted which was fine because you will reinstall them again so just delete what your computer will let you. Good Luck!!

I did this before your response and it worked!

I'll list what I did just in case someone is having issues.

-Download the previous driver behind the latest and the geforce installer as well.

-Delete ALL NVIDIA folders from the C:\ drive, program files and program files (x86)

-Now go press WIN KEY + X and click Device Manager and under display adapters you should see your GFX card, right click, uninstall and check mark remove software from this device and OK.

-Restart your computer then you should hear a sound from Windows 10 and this is my speculation but I think it's Windows is auto updating your video driver, ignore that

-Install geforce experience and afterwards install the other driver I said to download (run as admin), on the installer it'll give you an option to "clean install" the driver, click it.

After doing these steps I finally got my control panel on my right click context menu! Good luck to anyone else having this issue.

A simpler solution worked for me. I opened the NVidia Control Panel app, and found that Show Notification Tray Icon menu item was not checked. Selecting that menu item caused the NVidia icon to show up in the Notification Tray, both in the current bootload and in subsequent reboots.

On a Windows 10 64-bit system, the control panel app is found (using the File Explorer) at:
C:\Program Files\NVidia Corporation\Control Panel Client\nvcplui.exe

In the panel's top menu, click: Desktop > Show Notification Tray Icon

What worked for me was simply rerunning the installer for the newest driver version for Windows 10. I didn't uninstall or delete any files, just reran the installer for the version I already had installed. I didn't check "clean install" either as I had profiles I wanted to keep. It worked, so I recommend trying that first before you lose all your settings.

I'm unable to delete Nvdia corporation folder from c\program files though,
I've deleted nvdia corporation folder from ×86 folder and also have uninstalled the driver.
Wht should i do?

open up task manager, go to services there are 4 nv services, restart the 2 services except the telemetry one. The last one cannot be restarted. It worked for me:))
