Hello, I recently upgraded to Windows 10 then I did a clean install. Now I downloaded and updated all my drivers but I've noticed that my NVIDIA control panel is no where to be found. I have tried uninstalling geforce experience and the nvidia driver itself then reinstall but the control panel still isn't anywhere. Is anyone else having this issue?
Same thing happened to me and Geforce experience wasn't working and the control panel at first but I got it to work after reinstalling the drivers. What I did is I uninstalled Geforce Experience and all the drivers. Then deleted the main Nvidia folders should be one in you C drive and the one in you program files it might say that some of the file can't be deleted but that's okay since I read somewhere you really only need to delete the Geforce Experience folders there's one or two folders somewhere in your C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation Nvidia (X86) program file for Windows 64-bit . I just deleted everything else like the other Nvidia folder program on the other Program file folder (the non X86) just to be sure even though I told be some of the files could not be deleted which was fine because you will reinstall them again so just delete when you computer will let since you dont really need to delete them its really just the Geforce Experience Folders. Good Luck!!
I did this before your response and it worked!
I'll list what I did just in case someone is having issues.
-Download the previous driver behind the latest and the geforce installer as well.
-Delete ALL NVIDIA folders from the C:\ drive, program files and program files (x86)
-Now go press WIN KEY + X and click Device Manager and under display adapters you should see your GFX card, right click, uninstall and check mark remove software from this device and OK.
-Restart your computer then you should hear a sound from Windows 10 and this is my speculation but I think it's Windows is auto updating your video driver, ignore that
-Install geforce experience and afterwards install the other driver I said to download (run as admin), on the installer it'll give you an option to "clean install" the driver, click it.
After doing these steps I finally got my control panel on my right click context menu! Good luck to anyone else having this issue.
