[SOLVED] Windows 10 partition issues

Hi! I'm in trouble! I was trying to install windows from a external dvd drive on my asus e406s, everything was going well right up to the point where windows asks what partition to use. I foolishly deleted all the partitions and tried to setup a new one. Anyway I rebooted and got to the same page (The partition page) but now I keep getting the following error:

Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The computer hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disks controller is enabled in the computers bios menu.

I've tried booting from usb but once again it gets to the partition page but this time I get a different error message. (I can post it if it helps)

I really need to get this sorted asap I need it for college.

Can someone please help me!!

Edit! The drive is an eMMc drive. I'm going to try rufus again, fingers crossed.

Ok, i tried setting up rufus using mbr but now I'm getting this error:

windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, windows can only be installed to GPT disks.

Ralston18 I have to correct myself the drive is built in. There's nothing to unplug. I'm going to give rufus another try but this time I'm going to use GPT.

I got it!

here's what I did for anyone who ever encounters this problem:

diskpart

list disk

select disk 0

clean.

convert gpt

exit
