Windows 10 question

No you dont need to. But there may be drives left, wich your current cpu or gpu used
And it may be possible that your System won't boot. However this is unlikely, for example if you have a gtx 1050 ti in your current system, and you would get
a 1080ti,then they would be using the same drivers,so nothing would happen.but if you have a gtx 680 and you're getting a 1060,then the drivers would not work and you would need to reinstall windows.

Regardless I would still reinstall windows if you're getting a new MoBo just to be save.

Thanks!

Guess I'll just have to change the parts and see what happens!

Here's a quick and dirty trick, if you absolutely want to keep
your Windows installation.

1- Make Backup , just in case

2- Prior to final shutdown before you switch your hardware
go to add/remove programs, and Uninstall the drivers your
currently using, Chipset, audio ?, Videocard

3- Shutdown, don't reboot.

4- Switch hardware

5 Reboot, and reinstall new drivers.

This method works , but the cleanest way is a complete reinstall of Windows.

Also take note, you will need to Reactivate Windows.
If you have a legit copy, most likely your gonna have to get in contact
with Microsoft.
