Windows 10 boots up I enter my password then logging in takes a while longer then usual loads the desktop then pops up with a restart message but doesn't always load past the welcome screen and just reboots

Solution
A clean install of the latest build will bypass the need for installing the update causing the boot loop as it's already been incorporated as far as I can tell. Even forcing the issue by going here:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Clicking on "download tool now" and creating media, then installing the latest build while in safe mode should probably knock out that boot loop. I can't guarantee anything, but that's what I've done on the couple of machines I've seen this happen on. That will basically just do an "in place" upgrade without having to reinstall everything.

Couple of things, one, make sure hibernation or hybrid sleep are disabled. You can do this in the advanced power options section of control panel power options or as follows:

Two, if you are on an upgrade installation and have not done a clean install of the OS, that is something you should seriously consider.

Three, make sure you have a CLEAN install of the graphics card drivers, if you have a discreet graphics card installed.

And it's a pre-built laptop I've managed to launch it fine in safe mode if that's any help on had just finished installing new updates on the previous boot before the problem occurred I'm pretty sure it will be something to do with the updates just not sure what
