Hello, I recently finished my new Ryzen 7 1700 build, with an Aorus X370 Gaming K5 mobo, 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, and 2 GTX 1070 GPUs. My issue is that when I look at system specs, I only have 7.95 GB of Physical RAM available, even though it says that there are 16 GB of physical RAM installed. I checked the BIOS, and it is reading 16 GB of RAM, and I have the 64-bit version of Windows 10 installed, so there shouldn't be any RAM limitations. I also checked to see if the RAM had been manually limited somehow in system configuration, and it wasn't. I'm pretty sure it's not a BIOS issue, since the BIOS sees that I have 16 GB of memory, so I haven't updated the BIOS. I've got to admit, I'm pretty stumped here.... Is there any other way the system could be limiting my RAM? Should I update the BIOS? Any help would be appreciated!

Right, but my system isn't using up 8 GB of RAM in it's normal processes, it's using about 2GB....

The memory is 2x8 GB, according to the motherboard specs it should work fine, and it is all one brand/model.

Will do that and update after.
UPDATE: Updated the BIOS to the most recent version, and made sure that the RAM was plugged in all the way. Still only 7.95 GB of available memory out of the 16 GB of installed memory.
