[SOLVED] Windows 10 Search Bar and File Explorer Search Bar are Not Responsive

When I try to type something in the Windows search bar or when I try to search something in the file explorer search bar, neither of them are responsive and do nothing when you click on them. I tried doing the search bar troubleshooter to fix it and restarted my computer but neither worked. Any suggestions?

Well, that can be really anything between nothing and everything. Since so little information are provided, the easiest suggestion are to do necessarily backup and then get the computer to a repair shop.

Please provide some basic background information and it may be possible to have a look if you can give:

• HW list (computer age and model at minimum)
• Other known problems to it.
  • Have you had malware infection on it as you know about ?
• Back story (what did you do to the computer before it became like this ?)

We just ended up fixing it by creating a new profile and copying everything over.
