[SOLVED] Windows 10 security on opening programs

Hi, this is just a simple question.. how do I enable the feature of windows 10 so that the screen goes black and freeze whenever a program is about to be opened, the screen stays that way until I allow the program to run. This security feature is turned on in my gaming pc (on sig), but is disabled at the backup pc (on sig). The tech guy who worked to install SSD on the backup pc turned it off, and I can't figure out how to enable again.

are you thinking of the user account control setting? that will stop you from installing anything or making changes to windows, but i don't think it will do it for anything to run after it is installed.

What was it that you did (or do) in order to get the [a] program to run?

Turn UAC to recommend setting or elevate it if needed. Post a screenshot of what it looks like before you allow the program to run

solved, tying UAC into the taskbar allowed me to gain access and elevate the security settings.
