Windows 10 "Server" service periodically stops

I use my PC to stream videos from the PC to a KODI box. When Windows starts, the "server" service (which if I understand correctly is responsible for sharing) starts as well. However during the day for some reason occasionally is just stops running. Then to share videos I need to restart it. Not a major problem, but an annoyance. Sometimes it happens mid-streaming, but mostly not.

I did not find any relevant info in the Windows log. Is there a way to analyze the problem and fix it?

Alternatively, is there some 3rd party software for sharing to Kodi without using the windows service?

Thank you

Solution
I just use kodi to look at shared drives, and it pulls media from there. No services involved.

However if you look at the properties of the service you can tell it what to do in the event of a failure, this might help.
