If it's not giving you an option, UEFI, otherwise it can't boot when CSM is disabled.
EDIT: To clarify, EFI system partitions can be booted from a system that has CSM (both legacy BIOS and UEFI) enabled. If the partition is not an EFI system one but legacy BIOS compatible, it won't boot if CSM is disabled (UEFI boot only).
