Hello,

I have been experiencing a couple of issues with my PC lately and I cannot figure out the cause or what triggers these problems. Sometimes, my screen stays stuck at the black screen with the blue Windows logo.

. Whenever this happens, I just press the restart button on my tower and it usually does the trick.

Also, I occasionally receive a BSOD (not nearly as common as the aforementioned Windows logo screen issue). However, it has been a couple of weeks or so since I have encountered a BSOD. I cannot recall the error code unfortunately and I am not sure how to trigger it. Is there anyway to manually trigger a BSOD that can reveal any existing errors?

I have ran Memtest 3 times and received no errors, so I believe that rules out my RAM. I have also updated the BIOS on my mobo. These are my specs:

Mobo- ASRock 980DE3/U3S3
CPU- AMD FX-6300
Memory- Team Zeus Yellow 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
Graphics Card- EVGA NVIDIA GTX 760 2GB
Solid State Drive- Crucial M500 SSD 120 GB
Hard Drive- WD Blue 1TB Desktop Hard Disk Drive
PSU-Rosewill HIVE 550w 80 plus bronze PSU

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
