Windows 10 sound and graphics card issues

So no matter how many times I install and restart my computer I still get this

And I can only assume lost sound because of this as well. How can I fix this?

Custom install the driver, check the 'clean install' box. That has nothing to do with your sound.

Go ahead and download the driver from Geforce.com During the install make sure to specify that you want to perform a clean install. If that doesn't work, uninstall the drivers from Programs and Features and Device manager. Be sure to include the NVidia audio driver.

Also if you video card is overclocked remove the overclock.

The video card passes audio through the HDMI and Displayport ports. It has an audio driver for those.

I attempted all your suggestions so far. Nothing has resolved and now my card no longer outputs a signal.

Don't try the clean install option in the install, just use the DDU and when windows tries to install its own stop it and then do a clean install

I reverted back to 7. Maybe after some considerable time has past windows 10 drivers will actually work.
