Hello, so before posting this, I did a google search of "windows 10 stuttering, toms hardware" and read about 7 different posts, none helped and none were the EXACT issue I was facing.

Basically what happens is, when I boot up windows, everything works great for about 1 hour (sometimes even longer) but after that, i'm getting stuttering.

For example, if im playing music and open a web browser (doesnt matter which browser) the audio, and my mouse stutter. The audio sounds like its being play super slow and kind of robotic.

I'm using an HDMI cable from the GTX 960 so I've disabled the on board audio but still no help.

What I find very strange is that it doesnt happen at least 1 hour in after I boot up windows. Which is causing me to restart my computer after a few hours of unbearable usage.

This is my setup

System:Windows 10
Motherboard: Asus p8z77v-lx
Ram: 8 gigs corsair vengeance
Hdd: Samsung 1tb
cpu: intel pentium 15 3570k 3.20ghz
psu: thermaltake trs 750w
gpu: Nvidia GTX 960 4g OC edition

Thats strange, I don't have an actual "system" process showing in task manager, the highest program taking up ram is firefox and its only 364.2mb

There is a "system and compressed memory" process but its only 100mb

it doesn't tend to do anything if pc isn't idle - it only works in down time. It tries to work in back ground and not get in your way.

Plus you have enough ram for what you use.

Your pc seems okay now? Buy an ssd if you want, it will fix your pc more than adding more ram would. I have 16gb ram, I currently have 13gb free, so even if i had half my ram I would still have 5gb free. More ram isn't the answer

Could it be my old cpu? I think its time for an upgrade soon anyway.

This cpu is about 6 years old now. But you my friend, are killing it right now. Thanks for that program, I'll run it and see what happens

*UPDATE* looks like the last version of HUTIL was made in 2008. I tried running it and it says it wont work on my pc

lol thats real strange, the i5 box says 2011. Either way, I guess its still good for now. I'll check these out thanks.
