Hi, i recently installed a new game through steam, since then the computer has been having huge issues. It takes about 10 minutes to boot up, and takes another 5-10 minutes to load applications i.e. skype, steam, even google chrome, Its not my internet as web pages are loading fine and teamspeak has no connection issues.

I have tried running malwarebytes, and antivirus all coming up clean.

Can anyone help or have any ideas on what to do?

Thanks in advance

Solution
Not your overall HDD/SSD space but If your windows partition start running of space, your windows can run slow

hmmm...aside from that
1. check your energy profile, make sure everything is already running on performance mode, not on energy saving.
2. clean your windows from unnecessary start-up apps
3. scan for viruses and malwares
4. check your RAM health
5. check the health of your HDDs/SSDs
6. monitor the temps

No im running 3 HDDs over 6TB of space. I thought it was strange for it to start happening all of a sudden, Maybe the harddrive is dying?

Have you tried clearning out all temp files? Checking the registry for issues? I use CCleaner myself, only mess around with the registry if you know what you are doing!

Since you are using HDD, have you tried defragging them?
