Windows 10 system files taking up 130gb

Hi,

Recently, I have noticed that my SSD has been filling up very quickly. I haven't saved anything to it in months, but every once in a while it fills up. I've assumed its just with little temp files and downloads that went to the wrong place, but now I'm sure something else is wrong. Today, it ate up nearly 5gb of free space. It seems to all be from Windows 10 system files. I don't know what these are, but I assume they shouldnt take up 130gb of my ssd.

What can I do (short of a clean install which I REALLY don't want to do)

use https://windirstat.net/ and see what is taking up disk space.
and use disk cleanup to removed old windows updates.

Thanks, I have run windirstat and it's been unhelpful. The really weird part is that, under disk management, it shows my C drive as being 232Gb (which is what it should be), but in windirstat it shows it as 137gb, which is tiny(http://imgur.com/K2PtOsn). This kinda makes sense though, sense the system files is 130gb (http://imgur.com/lPwfqRm), which is massive.

look like windows 10 took about 35gb, the rest is your data/temp/app

*Use the program "FOLDER SIZE" to drill down and figure out what's going on.

(click the GREEN ARROW with C-drive selected and let it scan. Then, click "size" to organize largest to smallest and navigate down to subfolders to see what's going on, though it may be perfectly normal...)

May include:
a) Game updates
b) Web page or other downloads
c) AUTODESK data

Further cleaning.
1. File Manager, and right-click C-drive-> properties
2. Disc Cleanup-> wait
3. Cleanup System Files-> wait
4. *Look for LARGE (GB+) sizes especially and delete if appropriate

(may want to leave alone stuff if uncertain such as DUMP and LOG files. Occasionally a large update keeps a BACKUP file such as "W10 OLD" or whatever which I keep for a couple weeks then delete if no issues. Last one was the "Anniversary Update" I think so it's rare. )

Turn off File History. Tends to keep copying in and endless loop.
