Windows 10 "System" task using 100% hard drive capacity

So I started to notice my computer performing poorly in games, from low frame rates to long loading times (sometimes 10 minutes+). I checked task manager, and the disk usage is constantly maxed out at 100%, the task casing this is called "system", so i cant just end the task without shutting down my computer. I've looked at many videos and tutorials but none seem to help my problem. What can i do?

I have a seagate barracuda 1 tb hard drive, about half of the space is used up.

Since about 7 other people have same problem today, you likely to have a process called WPR_initiated_DiagTrackAotLogger_DiagTrack running under the system process. you can look in Resource manager disk tab and look at the paths attached to the system process.

Get Sysinternals ProcessExplorer, and see exactly what's going on. Don't forget to run-as Administrator when loading it up.
