So in the past week my computer has been taking forever to boot. I will see the MB screen, then the windows logo where the circle spins twice or so then goes to a black screen for a couple of minutes followed by my login screen coming up but with very significant input lag and typing lag. When finally in windows I see that my C disk usage is at 99% and stays there for a couple minutes before going to a normal idle load of 0-5% Any ideas of how to fix this? This happens everytime without fail.

Well, the usual troubleshooting recommendations are to make sure you've got an up to date AHCI driver, Trim is enabled, that the SSD hasn't managed to fill itself up, run antivirus scan, check startup programs, and also try disconnecting other devices. In particular USB devices and any other storage devices, but supposedly even things like DVD drives.

About 1 minute to get to password screen now it take five. So worse than the hdd I was on before and no new hardware.
