hello

i have couple of Questions regarding this , I just finished my build and wondering if installing windows 10 and then upgrading to 11 is better or just go with 11 straight ? I will be using a product key i purchase (didn't yet) , worth saving a little and update or go straight to 11 to save any issues?

Also Do i update bios on motherboard before i install windows? or do that after?

thank you

Is your current WIN 10 license linked to your MS account?

If so, that is all you need.
To activate the new system, log on to your MS account, and tell it "I'm using this PC now" (or words to that effect)

You do not need anything Win 8, or 10.
yes its linked , so when i install windows on new pc i just gotta log in with my microsoft account and it will activate it? And can i install 11 instead of 10 and the account will still recognise ?

Thank you! Do i need to remove my 2nd ssd (m2) before i install windows? what happens if i don't ?
Have only ONE drive physically connected when you install the OS.

What happens is...the small boot partition ends up on the other drive.
Not something you do or select, it just happens.

Later, if you remove that other drive, or it dies....no boot for you.

This is for WIn 10, but almost identical to 11:
