Windows 10 unallocated space

I have bought a new hard drive to put windows 10 on and I see this drive partition and saw it had windows 7 already on it. I hit delete because I thought that it would delete windows 7. Now I can’t put windows 10 on it because it is unallocated space. I need help with putting windows 10 on this hard drive. Thank you for your time, have a nice day

Cant be new if Win7 is on it. Boot from the windows dvd /flash drive. And delete all partitions then install Win10

One says partition one SYSTEM_DRV
One says unallocated space
And the other says partition 2 Lenovo recovery. Delete them all?

So you dont have a Lenovo right? if you dont yup in setup highlight each partition delete it. Then install Win10

I added a new and now I’m able to install

If it's meant to be new take it back / tell them it's not new, and get a replacement hdd with nothing on it.

That wasn't a "new" drive".
They do not come with an OS already on it.

If it's meant to be new take it back and get a hdd with nothing on it.

It was used. It’s fine. Windows is working now. Thank you so much for your help

Well if you cant delete the unallocated partition, then you wont be able to use all of it

It's probably part of whatever it was in, that cant be removed

The one that I could use was a 4th partition with 465gb. This is a 500gb hard drive

The others were system partitions made by windows.
