Windows 10 will not install to my SSD

I have put the windows 10 media tool on my USB drive. I can boot from there, however when I get to the part where you can choose which drive to install to. It does not let me install windows on the SSD. This error message comes up. Windows can not be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's bios menu.

My PC:
i7 4770k CPU
MSI Z97 Gaming 5 Motherboard
EVGA Superclocked Nvidia Geforce GTX 970
Samsung 850 Evo 240Gb SSD
WD black 1Tb HDD

I've always used option #2 in the link below and not had any problems. Note that you have to disable secure boot and fast boot in the bios and format the USB with the GPT partion scheme for UEFI and Fat32.
