HI, ive recently installed windows 10 only to realize that I have x32 bit. Ive gone back to see if I can download x64 bit but it wont let me. All of my system specs meet the standards so I don't see what the problem is... This isn't a huge problem but its not letting me use 6 GB of my ram.
Thanks

Solution
According to the Microsoft articles I went ahead and took a look at, if you do a clean install using the mediacreation tool and methods I outlined above, you should be eligible to change to the 64 bit OS, so it should not be a problem.
You will probably need to reinstall your original OS, and then upgrade it again to the 64bit version, but you can try just doing a clean install of the 64bit version first as that may work as well.

Was your original OS a 32 or 64 bit version? If your qualifying version of windows was 32 bit, you can only upgrade to 32 bit so far as I am aware of.

How to do a clean install

Dowload the ISO here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Use this tool to create USB or DVD installation media using the downloaded ISO: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/windows-usb-dvd-download-tool

Unfortunately my previous OS was 32 bit because it was all I had lying around after I had a hard drive crash. I appreciate all of the help. I will let you know if I have any luck.
