hello,

I've noticed some issues after using Windows 11 Installation Assistant on my machine.

I'm currently running it on:
CPU: 13700k,
SSD: Samsung 990 Pro 2TB
RAM: 32GB 6200Mhz

My cpu cores are unparked (so that should make things more snappy) but I've noticed that the previous version was more snappy. I never had my desktop apps refreshing once boot (or reboot) or stuttering on the Windows Welcome logo....did you guys notice the same issue?
i also double-checked my SDD speed and it was giving the advertised speed or even higher.

Hey there,

There seems to be a lot of buggy issues with 24H2. I tried one of the pre-release versions and it nerfed some of my games. They simply would not load.

There are many users reporting various issues with different components of the OS. IMO, I'd roll back to 23H2 and wait for some cumulative updates to fix the bugs, before installing again.

It's a bummer, as I don't think you can just roll back the update, but rather have to do a fresh install of 23H2

I've noticed random stuttering when playing a game (eFootball) or even watching videos. The audio doesn't lag while it's happening, only the image does. I only updated to 24H2 several days ago and that's when I first started noticing it.

Anyone else getting the same issue? I don't really notice it anywhere else, just it randomly happens when playing the game or watching videos (Twitch, YouTube, Prime Video and mpv). It lasts for maybe several minutes when it does happen and then stops. I've checked my usages on Task Manager and also clock speeds for CPU/GPU, they're all fine. No abnormally high usage during the stutter and no throttling.

Very weird issue. I can only assume the problem is related to 24H2. It doesn't always happen and it doesn't seem very common. I might notice maybe 3-4 times a day. It's not a constant thing. Just something brief that passes.

Main Specs:

CPU: Ryzen 5700X3D
GPU: Asus RX 6650 XT Dual OC
RAM: Corsair LPX CL16 3200MHz (16GB x 2)
Motherboard: MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC
Drives: Corsair MX500 256GB (main boot), Corsair MX500 1TB (secondary SSD) and 2 more HDDs for additional storage (a WD Blue 1TB and a WD Green 2TB)
PSU: EVGA 650W BQ
