[SOLVED] Windows 11 bootable USB not working

Downloaded the Windows 11 iso and used Etcher to mount it on a USB 2.0 stick with more than adequate space. Does not boot when I plug it into my PC. Its the first in the boot list, I’ve screwed around with security settings and nothing works. I’ve read somewhere that W11 does not support USB 2.0. Is this the issue?

Why Etcher, and not the MediaCreation tool from MS?

The USP port has no impact as to what is on the USB.
Current PC is dead so I had to do it on a Mac. Couldn’t use Bootcamp since that froze every time I used it. Any other programs you recommend? I’m aware of the FAT32/NTFS issue with the file sizes and I’m not sure what Mac program I could use for that. My only option if there is none is to use Terminal to make it.

Ah...
I have no idea about creating this on a Mac. Not my wheelhouse...sorry.
