After entering my PIN, on startup Windows 11 fails in the final stage of loading. I am able to Ctrl/Alt/Delete and restart/shutdown etc but no more than that. I do have another copy of Windows 11 on a secondary drive which I can use. Am i able to repair the primary Windows from the backup or by any other method?
Thank you.

Any error messages or pop-ups when the use of your PIN fails

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

List all attached peripherals.

Yes you can if you have created a bootable USB drive via Windows media creation tool or Rufus. You can boot off that USB drive. Start the installation process. When you get to the screen where it asks if you want to Install or Repair, choose REPAIR.

  1. Log in with administrator account.
  2. Change settings, to not require PIN, when logging in.
    • Settings/Accounts/Sign-in options/Only allow windows Helo sign-in - set to disabled.
    • This will allow login using password instead.
  3. Then login with your user account using password.
