[SOLVED] windows 11 icon from the task bar has disappeared

I now wish I didnt but today I upgraded to windows 11. However, the windows icon and other icons have disappeared from the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, including files icon, start icon etc but the icons on the bottom right are still there? . I have tried many different 'fixes' ive read from the microsoft forums but none of them seem to work. Just a picture to show you what I mean. Imgur: The magic of the Internet

Nah,Ive reverted back to Windows 10.... Im staying well away 😉

clean install may have worked better, updates can have weird problems.
