I want to update to Windows 11 and ran the Microsoft app to see if my computer was ready for it. I ran it and it said I needed secure boot which I don't think I have on my motherboard, which is an MSI X58 Pro, so I might need a new one. The app also said my processor, an Intel I7 920 running at 2.67 GHZ with quad cores I believe did not pass the test, though it is above their requirements of 1 Ghz or faster with 2 or more cores, so I'm confused as to why it's saying it won't work. Can anyone tell me why that's the case? If I can indeed use my same processor, what's a good motherboard that supports that processor and can do secure boot? Lastly, how can I get a clean install version of Windows 11, as my computer originally had Windows 7 on it before I upgraded to 10 and I'd like to do a clean install as I believe those old Windows 7 files might be causing me problems?

Your motherboard was made before a time UEFI and Secure Boot were really a thing.

The official minimum requirements for Windows 11 processor-wise are 8th gen Core and Ryzen 3000 (not including those with a "G" at the end). These processors also have built-in TPM support which is required for secure boot. Unless you really need a feature on Windows11, you can continue using Windows 10. Just that updates will stop in 2025.
