I've WINDOWS 11 INSIDER update installed right now and I haven't got the WINDOWS 11 official update in the WINDOWS UPDATE. I tried downloading the UPGRADE ASSISTANT but its keep crashing every time I run it so I decided to GOOGLE a bit about this issue and I came to know that this assistant will only work in WINDOWS 10, do I really have to install windows 10 to upgrade my WINDOWS or there's some other way around it. I want to keep my DATA and I don't have any other HARD DRIVE to take backup otherwise I would've done a fresh install.

Solution
why don't you use windows 11 .iso from, official release, use rufus to make bootable drive, and upgrade using it? you could still retain the apps and settings using the bootable drive (after making the bootable drive click on the setup exe on the usb drive).

is there any other solution ? I don't know why but my KINGSTON's 16gigs USB (with WINDOWS 10) is not being recognized by any devices I have, I tried extracting the ISO file and use its setup.exe to install WINDOWS 11 but it will format every thing.
