[SOLVED] Windows 11 won't let me reset my pin

Writing from inside Linux Mint. After doing this for almost 40 years Windows has me stumped. I moved some m.2 drives around between 2 motherboards and when I rebooted Windows says I need to reset my pin. But when I try to do it Windows says I need to be connected to the internet, which I currently am by ethernet otherwise I wouldn't be writing this. But Windows won't recognize the ethernet connection or even wifi, which both work perfectly in Linux. I tried a full bios reset but can't think of anything else to get ethernet access. Can anyone help an old man out?

If they were OS drives, you will need to reinstall the OS due to the motherboard/platform swap.
IDK; I gave up on that computer and moved on to the other computer that I swapped drives with. When I fired that one up the same screen appeared and this one allowed me to select and log onto my wifi and then go through the pin reset procedure and after fixing the activation numbers it works fine. Just in case I went into my Microsoft account and deleted the other computer from the account so maybe that will help. But clearly since it worked once the PIN reset should display a list of wifi connections even if the ethernet isn't working, which it certainly was. I'll mess around with the other computer after I finish this new one and hopefully I can avoid a full re-install. That won't be too bad since I just use it for watching movies so there are no additional apps needed. I also may try loading a macrium image onto that drive and see if that helps. I just don't want to risk 24H2 with a reinstall.

THANKS!
