[SOLVED] Windows 11 worth the upgrade yet?

I finally broke down and bought myself a shiny new 5800x (was only 20 bucks more than the 5600x) and Mobo and all that fun stuff and have 10 Pro on it at the moment.

I'm curious as to if moving to Windows 11 would give any performance benefits, stability issues with the OS? I mostly do gaming, web browsing, school work, nothing intensive like photo or video editing, might do some streaming to YouTube/twitch soon though.

Looking for thoughts from a consumer view outside of the chet and pcgamer articles.

I am curious what op decided since they posted almost a month ago now.

You might not even notice the things that are missing.
I may need to use 10 again for a while to see the changes as I can't really tell anymore.

After full immersion in Win 11 for a few days, I look at the differences the same as moving the cupholders in the new model year car.

Them moving settings around is the complaint I see on other forums.
Thats just to make you think its new and look around their pretty settings menus

without websites showing what is missing, I really can't tell the difference. Not sure how it is uglier than 10 unless you talking about Start menu and I rarely look in it. Only when I forget they moved weather into widgets. Shame widgets can't be mounted on desktop as then I wouldn't need that menu either.
All the extra things in 11 are easy to overlook. And forget.

I fully agree. If I really need to find something I use the search function in windows and all becomes transparent
