Windows 7 64 Bit Bluetooth

I have recently purchased an ASUS AC55BT Wifi adapter with the intention of using with Windows 7 64bit. I have installed it and got it the wifi working but I cannot get the bluetooth to function. Can someone please confirm if Win 7_64 supports bluetooth ? ASUS support has two versions of software available for download for this adapter and both versions are annotated for both versions Win 7. Once both are downloaded the bluetooth folders only contain the drivers for Win 8, 8.1 and 10. The system see's my Sony bluetooth headset and every thing looks good except the device driver box which states there are no drivers present. Even Intel drivers don't work.Can anyone please direct me to a bluetooth driver or make a suggestion on how to rectify this. If not I guess I will have to pull it out and return it to the store and try a bluetooth dongle which I was trying to avoid using. Thanks : )

ASUS say "No".... they only have a driver for the wifi side of it...... WTF !!!

Anyone ... ??
