I had Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit, then I upgraded it to 64 bit (still Wind0ws 7 Ultimate, and I have 8 GB of RAM).

My problem is that I can't open any games that I want to play like F1 2013, Far Cry 3, Saints Row IV and NBA 2K13 and 14. The error is (0xc000007b)

"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click Okay to close the application"

Solution
fix 0xc00007b error "the application was unable to start correctly"

there may be multiple reasons as to why you might receive 0xc00007b error when trying to run an application on a windows machine. 0xc000007b error usually comes from mixing up 32bit environment with 64bit one. For example 32bit application loads a 64bit dll causing 0xc000007b error.

Solution 1
In most cases it's .NET framework causing issues. This can easily fixed by re-installing latest .NET framework from [link]

Solution 2
Re-install the application that you are trying to run. It sounds simple but the application data files could be corrupt or missing. This could be caused by a installation that did not complete successfully or by a virus.

Solution 3
Running the...

This happened to me and it is a real pain to solve, i went through many tutorials on how to fix this and i still got this error.

My best advice is to wipe your hard drive clean and reinstall windows 7.

WARNING : Save any important files on an external hard drive before attempting to do this.

Good luck :)

Hi..... I have windows 7 64bits i have this problem at the start when i install Far cry 4. and it don't starts. So me and my friend search on Google so much but don't find any solution. Me and my friend made a file by downloading verious .dll files.
1. Download mfc100.dll, mfc100u.dll, msvcp100.dll, msvcr100.dll, msvcr100_clr0400.dll, xinput1_3.dll and copy them to C:\Windows\System32.
2. Now download msvcp100.dll, msvcr100.dll, msvcr100_clr0400.dll, xinput1_3.dll and copy them to C:\Windows\SysWOW64.
And play the game and enjoy.

To anyone still having this error code. I tried everything the internet said, and even contacted Mic Support and they couldnt fix it. BUT I did find a way. If you go here
http://www.mediafire.com/download/5ys1szgu3s4gxgz/Corre%C3%A7%C3%A3o+erro+%280xc000007b%29.rar
Download this file and extract it, it will contain all the DLLs you need to fix the issue if DirectX and .Net Framework reinstall did not help.

If you are running x32, copy and paste these DLLs into System32.
If you are running x64, copy and paste these DLLs in SysWoW64.
Hope this helps

This happens when conflicting DLL files. If 32 bit DLL files are somehow transfered to 64 bit, it will cause this issue, or at least in some cases. One annoying DLL files is the msvcp100.dll... Damn, but you can try removing this file from either SysWOW64 or System32, and it might work. As well with the msvcr100.dll. Hope I helped at least some of you! :)
