Windows 7 64bit AMD AHCI Drivers

Windows install refuses to accept the drivers given to me by Gigabyte (I have the Gigabyte 970A-UD3P). The BIOS recognizes my SSD, and in command prompt Windows even lists my SSD as a drive, but it says drivers are missing when I attempt to install Windows. Any advice?

USB, went with a 5.25 bay-less case so a CD is not an option 🙁

I pretty sure you are trying to install windows from a USB 3.0 port. Use a USB 2.0 instead.

Then try connecting the USB drive to an USB 2.0 port.
