windows 7 64bit drivers needed

I have recently installed win7 64bit and now my asus drw-1814blt can not be seen in explorer. I tried following the troubleshooter guide and it could not find any updated drivers.

can the drive be seen in the BIOS?

is it listed in the device manager?

did you install the chipset drivers?

Double check with the DVD drive cable connection, make sure that its not loose.
