Which windows should i get??
I like windows 7 since its so simple and i hate widnows 8 but will i need new upgrades of windows since 7 is old already?

1. You can't buy 10 yet
2. No matter which one you do buy today (7 or 8), it's a free upgrade to 10.

Yes, but it will be sometime after July 29. MS has a billion devices to upgrade. Not all of them will get it on day one.

It comes out on July 29th for Windows 7 and 8 users.... and it's probably downloading in bits and pieces to everyone who registered even now and then boom on July 29, the last lil bits will come down.

Users using Win 7 /8 Home will get Win 10 Home and those using pro will get Win 10 Pro

I just did a Mudders Day build for Wifie and it's the first "Home" version of an OS I / we have owned. About 2 days later it was announced that Home Users will vet force fed Windows Update whether they want them or not....so this is a deal breaker for me ... going to have to do the "anytime upgrade" thing before we upgrade. She been getting "no access messages, too many folks on network thing which I read here had gone away in the home version.

I imagine it will take awhile to get everybody but the smart ones will wait 3 months or so till it;'s stable and they find out the repercussions of doing so,

for everybody else, as I recall, it's the end of August to purchase it
