Windows 7 compatibility with office 2007

Hello, I am considering buying a laptop with Windows t Home Premier. Will I have any compatibility issues with the powerpoint and word programs from Office 2007 that I have on my current desktop that has Vista

Nope, not at all! Office 2007 is compatible with Windows 7, you will simply need to install it (just like you did with Vista).

No issues with Office 2007 and Win7 on my main pc and no issues with older Office 2003 on my htpc with Win7. Note: Office 2010 is now available and about same price as 2007. Make sure you get it with 3 allowable installs/pc's (typically not if you just buy a license key and no disk/box).

Hi Cassandra;

I purchased Office Professional 2007 and when I go to install on win 7, 64 bit, it says that I need adminstrative access. Is this program compatable with win 7?

When you first installed Windows 7, the first account that you created is the administrator account. You need to log into that account to make significant changes to your computer, such as installing Office - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/Windows7/How-do-I-log-on-as-an-administrator

Hi Cassandra;

I successfully installed Office 2007 when signed in as an administrator. However, all my other programs disappeared. Now I have to constantly switch from admininstrator to my profile to use the other programs. Is there a way to combine the two profiles so I can use all the programs?
