I have re installed windows 7 onto a newly built desktop PC but now every time you start any game or program in general windows 7 crashes. I thought it might be a graphical problem with the on board intel graphics set so I went and bought a Geforce GTX 960 and still the problem persists.
Windows 7 crashes after opening any program.

Have you installed all updated drivers for your board including BIOS, chipset, and graphic drivers? Have all of the windows updates installed? What version of windows (home, pro) and is it OEM or retail version, 32 or 64 bit? All components new or just some? Have you checked to make sure your ram is compatible and ran memtest86 to check for errors?
