Windows 7 doesnt recognize all my RAM

Hello,
How do I get my Windows 7 to read both RAM 1 gig each. total of 2 it only recognizing 1 gig?

For Windows to be able to use both gigs of RAM, you need to make sure your computer itself can see them. When your computer starts up, enter the BIOS. Somewhere in there you should see Memory: 1024MB or Memory: 2048MB. If it says 1024, you'll need to open up your computer and reseat your RAM.
