Hi,

I bought a Toshiba Satellite L955-10Q a while ago and it came with windows 8.1. I just installing Windows 7 from a USB and a few driver are missing most importantly driver for the wifi. I went on the toshiba driver support webiste but they only support drivers for windows 8.1 is there a way I can get a wifi driver for my laptop?

Yes...go to the control panel and then device manager. Right click the device you are missing the driver to and select properties. Click the details tab and from the dropdown menu select hardware ID's. Note the DEV and VEN numbers. You can post those here and I'll find the driver for you or you can pick them up at www.pcidatabase.com by using those ID's

I went on the network controller driver and did as you said and this came up

PCI/VEN_14E4&DEV_4365&SUBSYS_661511AD&REV_01
PCI/VEN_14E4&DEV_4365&SUBSYS_661511AD
PCI/VEN_14E4&DEV_4365&CC_028000
PCI/VEN_14E4&DEV_4365&CC_0280

I downloaded the exe file put in on a usb pendrive and installed it all on to my laptop it prompted a restart but are it restarted it still exactly the same no network controller or wifi?

My wired connection doesnt even work
