I have Windows 7 OS installed.
My Epson Stylus Photo R300 is recognized by Windows 7 and is the default printer. Everything looks fine, but it will not print anything.

I requested a MS word document to print- no print. I went to the control panel – the Epson is set up as my default printer. I opened “Printer ready” and the document does not appear in the print queue.

So, I found a pic on my hard drive and sent it to the printer – It showed up in the print queue but would not print. While I was in this window I went to properties and tried to print a test page. It showed up in the print queue but would not print.

I have repeated this process on each available open USB port on my motherboard. Any suggestions.

Have you tried to see if there's a driver update needed in your device manager? That might help. Additionally, you may also want to try to uninstall, then reinstall the printer.

I have tried uninstalling the printer multiple times and searched for new drivers. Windows 7 states that the driver is current.
Will Windows 7 really remove everything about the Epson? Thank you for your response to my questions

The problem is not resolved. No one could help. This conflict with my USB printer will not be resolved unless I rebuild my PC from scratch. I do not look forward to this course of action
