Windows 7 for gaming

Is Windows 7 still relevant in the gaming world? I decided to go with Windows, however the prices for Windows 10 are higher than what I'm looking for. So I was wondering if Windows 7 is still good for gaming.

Yea, why not? It's literally no difference to Windows 10.

You can also just upgrade from 7 to 10 if you want to.
