windows 7 internet wont work because of updates

hi i just booted a new pc with windows 7. the only problemis i need to update windows. but to do this i need to also update the network connector but i have no internet to do so. what can i do?

On a different machine, go find the LAN driver. Save it to a USB stick. Use that to install on the new PC.

windows should have a generic driver for that and that driver should be atleast on the motherboard disk to get you going [unless its quailcom then I guess your on your own]
