Windows 7 iso from Compaq/HP

I have a compaq laptop that has a big problem. When turned on it instantly says "BOOTMGR missing / Press ctrl+alt+del to restart" but this isn't directly the problem i need solved. to fix this i need the recovery disc or instillation disk for this laptop which i do not have. I tried to get an iso from the microsoft website but it said

"The product key you entered appears to be for software pre-installed by the device manufacturer. Please contact the device manufacturer for software recovery options."

So my problem is i need to get the correct ISO from Compaq/HP for this laptop, i just cant find it. I cant get much information about the specific laptop because i don't have any manual for it and any sicker that may have given information are not on it, All i know is that It is windows 7 home premium (i think 64 bit, sticker is faded), it has a Pentium processor, and the license sticker says HP (it is a compaq laptop but i am lead to understand that it is one and the same.) If you have any insight into how to help, any input is apreciated.

(also, is it possible to determine the exact version from the key alone because the sticker is faded and i am not 100% sure on the version)

do you know anyone who has a win 7 disk? any old home premium disk will work so long as you have your key to activate it from the sticker.

that's probably the best way to get a copy for now. then make an iso of it when you're up and running again for future use.

if MS won't let you download the iso and you know no one with a copy, then you're gonna have to try your luck with using a 3rd party source. plenty out there but hard to know which is a good source. i've not looked for a copy from a 3rd party as i still have my disk from way back when.

wish i could be of more help but those are you're only real options if MS won't help you.

i did not link that since it seems he already tried that rout. some OEM keys will give this message instead of the iso file.

could also use a win 7 key from a friends pc to get the iso if need be. would be a way to get an official and known good copy of win 7. won't matter if it is being used as you only need it to get to the iso file for download.

That is the website i tried, and every computer key available to me is for a computer where the manufacturer pre-installed the os. So is there any way i can get and ISO from Compaq/Hp. Or as another option is there somewhere i can just download the ISO without needing a product key, or maybe a key gen just to get the download?
