I am continually experiencing Windows lockups almost daily.
I am running Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit. It has worked almost perfectly since it was new a number of years ago, until roughly mid-late December 2018 when some new Microsoft updates came down. Since then, it has been a nightmare keeping Windows running beyond 10 hours or so -- if left on, it'll lock up: sometimes it appears to go to sleep and cannot be woke, other times the cursor just all of a sudden locks up and there is nothing one can do but remove power and then turn it back on at which time a boot takes a long, long time to complete. I have 1 computer at my office that this happens on and one at home. I have 3 friends where almost identical things began happening.
How can I determine where the problem is and rectify this? Is there a log somewhere I can get to that may tell me where the problem is?
