Windows 7 microsoft office 2003 compatibility OFFICE 2007

Hello,

I have Windows 7 and Office 2003. What program can I download that will allow me to open/modify Office 2007 programs?

I believe you are refering to document files from office 2007 (ending in "x" file extension) - sadly office 2003 cannot open these files.

There is only one way to open these files and that is for the creator of the document i noffice 2007 to choose "Save as ******* - 2003 compatabilty" other than that the only option is to purchase the newer version

Actually, Office 2003 can open the xml based Office 2007 documents, but only if you have the Office 2007 compatibility pack installed. Office 2003 natively won't recognize them.

I don't know about the US, but here in Australia they are heavily discounting Office 2007 Home & Student, I got mine last year for $98 AUD.
