Windows 7 on Intel 8th generation

Will Windows 7 work on Intel 8th generation chip set?

HP G5 450 with i5-8250U and SSD PCLe NVMe as drive. After W7 install no driver found, no USB or any other...unable to update via WiFi or any other way at this time.

It is possible or just let it go and install Windows 10.

A generic desktop, maybe. A laptop, almost never. The laptop manufacturer has no reason to create drivers for multiple OS versions. If it wasn't available with Windows 7 from HP, then no.

Support for windows 7 has dropped since the 7th gen. It will still work on windows 7 but there will simply be no drivers.
